Terms of use
These terms cover the FareGlance Android app and this website. By using them you agree to these terms.
Who we are
FareGlance is a product of BigEBasket Limited ("BigEBasket", "we", "us" or "our"). BigEBasket Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16499232). These terms form an agreement between you and BigEBasket Limited. Contact: fareglance@gmail.com.
Independent app
FareGlance is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Uber or any other rideshare platform. Uber is a trademark of its owner. You are responsible for using FareGlance in line with the terms of any platform you drive for.
What FareGlance does
- FareGlance reads offer details shown on your screen and displays estimates, such as £ per hour and £ per mile, compared with targets you set.
- Its Accept, Maybe and Reject labels are suggestions only. FareGlance never accepts, rejects or taps anything for you. Every decision is yours.
Estimates, not guarantees
All figures are estimates based on what an offer displays. They do not include costs, waiting time, tips, fees or changes to a trip, and they can be wrong if an offer is read incorrectly. They are not guaranteed earnings and are not financial or tax advice.
Safe use
Do not interact with your phone in a way that breaks road-traffic law or distracts you from driving. Set FareGlance up while parked. Optional voice summaries can help you keep your eyes on the road.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure. You can delete your account at any time in Setup → Account. We may suspend accounts used to misuse the service. See our privacy policy for how account and backup data is handled.
Plans and pricing
All current features are free. A paid Pro plan is planned but not yet available. If it launches, it will be billed through Google Play under Google Play's terms, and these terms will be updated first.
Availability and changes
FareGlance may stop reading offers correctly if a driver app changes its screens. We provide the app "as is" and may change or discontinue features. [Limitation of liability wording, to be drafted by a solicitor. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.]
Governing law
[These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. To be confirmed.]
